Job summary

HEPCO, Inc. seeks an experienced Electronic Assembler II to support production of high-reliability electronic systems for aerospace and defense in a clean room environment. You will assemble, solder, and inspect complex electromechanical assemblies following engineering documentation.

Responsibilities include reading schematics, using AOI/AXI inspection, maintaining production records, and adhering to IPC Class 3 standards while following safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

  • Requires two years of a High School or Trade School education.
  • Experience with hand soldering, connector installation, and epoxy application to IPC Class 3 standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Selective soldering and high-volume wave soldering experience.
  • Experience using AOI and AXI equipment.
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards.
  • IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD certification.
  • Experience working in a clean room manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using solder reflow ovens, automated assembly equipment, and production measurement systems.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and manufacturing processes.

Shift: 2nd Shift (4/10 Schedule) - Monday through Thursday, 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM.

Pay: Up to $29.71 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
