Our client is seeking an experienced Electronic Assembler II to support the production of advanced electronic systems for the aerospace and defense industry. This position offers the opportunity to work in a clean room environment assembling high-reliability electronic products while maintaining the highest standards of quality and precision.
- Assemble, disassemble, and modify electronic and electromechanical assemblies following work instructions and engineering documentation.
- Perform hand soldering, connector installation, and epoxy application to IPC Class 3 standards.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, drawings, and process plans.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Utilize fixtures and tooling to accurately build assemblies.
- Inspect parts and materials for defects prior to assembly.
- Operate solder reflow ovens, semi-automatic pick-and-place equipment, and automated measurement systems.
- Maintain accurate production records using MRP and data collection systems.
- Follow clean room, safety, and quality procedures at all times.

Required Qualifications
- Requires two (2) years of a High School or Trade School education.
- Experience with hand soldering, connector installation, and epoxy application to IPC Class 3 standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Selective soldering and high-volume wave soldering experience.
- Experience using AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) and AXI (X-Ray Inspection) equipment.
- Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards.
- IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD certification.
- Experience working in a clean room manufacturing environment.
- Experience using solder reflow ovens, automated assembly equipment, and production measurement systems.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and manufacturing processes.

Shift: 2nd Shift (4/10 Schedule) - Monday through Thursday, 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM.
Pay: Up to $29.71 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
