Job summary

Atlanta Attachment Company is seeking an Electronics Assembler for our Lawrenceville, GA site. You will assemble electronic devices, wire components, and test finished products following schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble electronic devices and systems by following detailed electrical schematics and blueprints, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment to mount surface-mount technology (SMT) components through hole onto printed circuit boards (PCBs).
  • Build electrical panels and wire components according to IPC 610 standards, maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality protocols.
  • Interpret electrical schematics and blueprints for troubleshooting, assembly, and modification of electro-mechanical components.
  • Conduct testing using ohmmeters and other electrical measurement tools to verify circuit integrity and functionality.
  • Be able to ID Capacitors, Resistors, Diodes, IC's and other electronic components.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams during troubleshooting processes to resolve assembly or wiring issues efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace while documenting assembly steps and inspection results for quality assurance.

Experience

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or electronics assembly is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of PCB fabrication, surface mount technology (SMT), and electrical wiring techniques.
  • Familiarity with reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Hands-on experience with soldering techniques compliant with IPC 610 standards.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and other measurement devices accurately.
  • Mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience is advantageous for assembling electro-mechanical components.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical issues using engineering principles and diagnostic tools.
