  • Follow IPC Standards, J-STD requirements, and company quality procedures.
  • Perform visual inspections to verify product quality and workmanship.
  • Maintain soldering equipment and demonstrate proper tool cleaning and maintenance procedures.
  • Support production of products serving the aerospace and medical equipment industries.
  • Adhere to all workplace safety, quality, and manufacturing standards.

Location: San Diego, CA
Pay Rate: $21.00 – $30.00 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift: 7 AM – 3:30 PM

Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical training in electronics, manufacturing, electrical assembly, or a related field preferred.

Experience Requirements
  • 1+ year of previous soldering experience required.
  • Experience working with IPC Standards and J-STD workmanship requirements.
  • Experience assembling, soldering, and inspecting small electronic components and assemblies.
  • Background in aerospace, medical device, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing environments preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong blueprint and schematic reading skills.
  • Experience using hand tools, measuring devices, and precision instruments.
  • Ability to accurately measure parts using a ruler and other basic inspection tools.
  • Knowledge of crimping techniques and electronic component assembly.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality, and workmanship standards.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to perform detailed work with small component parts for extended periods.
  • Frequent use of hands for soldering, crimping, assembly, and inspection tasks.
  • Ability to distinguish small components, wiring, and assembly details.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and perform repetitive manufacturing tasks throughout the shift.

What You Will Do

As a Electronic Assembler you will assemble products, components, or equipment using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and assembly instructions. You will inspect completed assemblies, verify measurements, identify quality concerns, maintain organized work areas, and support production goals while following established manufacturing procedures and workplace safety standards.
