We are seeking an Electronic Assembler to support production and prototype projects involving electronic, electrical, and mechanical assemblies.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, four 10-hour shifts, typically 4:30 p.m.-3:00 a.m.
- Assemble electronic components, circuit boards, modules, connector panels, and mechanical subassemblies.
- Read and follow engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
- Perform soldering, wire termination, wire harness installation, cable assembly, and torquing operations.
- Use microscopes, hand tools, crimping tools, and precision testing equipment.
- Assemble, disassemble, modify, inspect, and adjust components to meet specifications.
- Inspect work for compliance with J-STD and IPC-610 standards.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Quality Control to resolve technical issues and maintain product quality.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or trade school education and at least 2 years of related experience.
- Experience assembling small devices, soldering, wiring, harnesses, and cabling.
- Experience working with a microscope.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and specifications.
- Understanding of electronics fundamentals and component identification.
- Ability to obtain and maintain ESD, Material Handling, and Solder certifications.
- Computer literacy, strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
- Ability to lift and carry objects, stand for extended periods, and occasionally bend, reach, and stoop.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in electronic and mechanical assembly.
- Experience performing advanced soldering and electrical/electronic assembly operations.
Base Pay: Rates are based on experience:
- $28.15/hour: 5 years of manufacturing soldering experience.
- $24.32/hour: 3-5 years of manufacturing experience without soldering experience.
- $20.87/hour: No manufacturing experience.
