Job summary

Nidec Motor Corporation in Rancho Cordova, CA is seeking an entry-level assembler to support our motion control engineering team. You will cut, strip, tin, and assemble wire parts, and connect terminal connectors according to defined Procedures.

The role requires basic knowledge of electrical schematics and the ability to follow detailed instructions. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and can work independently or with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Basic ability to understand electrical schematics.
• Ability to follow defined assembly processes with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to learn and handle small hand-tools.

Responsibilities

• Cut/strip/tin wire parts and assemble with connectors.
• Assemble parts using defined sequence and methods.
• Use soldering iron, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, drivers and pliers for assembly.
• Understand electrical schematics and perform basic wiring tasks.
• Complete projects independently or with minimal supervision.

What You\'ll Be Doing

• Cutting wire to specified sizes, stripping, tinning or binding wire parts, wiring and fastening terminal connectors
• Assembles parts where sequence and method are well defined and require no interpretation or judgment
• Utilizes small hand tools such as soldering iron, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screw drivers and pliers. Entry Level position
• Ability to understand an electrical schematic
• Basic knowledge, experience or skill required
