Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an Electronic Assembler in Tonawanda, NY. The role involves bench work, soldering, and assembly of IVF temperature monitoring assemblies and related electro-mechanical parts. The candidate should be able to read drawings in English and has basic color vision.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret drawings and instructions in English.
• Good vision and the ability to recognize all colors.
• Soldering and electronics assembly experience (6 months to 1 year) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carries out bench work involving soldering and small piece assembly, as well as other product-specific procedures.
• Assembles electromechanical parts and enclosures, components, and circuit boards using hand tools.
• Assembles IVF temperature monitoring assemblies.
• Solders resistors and other components to PCBs, including wiring and connectors.
• Develop soldering skills for both through-hole and surface-mount boards.
• Testing and quality control of final assemblies.
• Labeling and handling non-conforming products.

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an Electronic Assemblerfor a provider of IVF Lab Monitoring Equipment and industrial control products. Located in Tonawanda NY, this company has been a leader in the custom electronics industry for 49 years.

Shift:

Monday-Friday 8am – 4:30pm

Pay Rate:

$19.00/hr-24.00/hr. plus year end bonus based upon experience and skill set.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Carries out bench work involving the process of soldering and small piece assembly, as well as other product specific procedures
• Assembles electromechanical parts and enclosures, components, and circuit boards using hand tools such as screw drivers, torque wrenches, soldering tools, heat guns, and specialized assembly tools.
• Assembly of IVF temperature monitoring assemblies.
• Solders resistors and other electronic components to a printed circuit board including stripping and tinning of wires and cables and soldering the wires to electrical connectors
• Develop Soldering skills for both thru hole and surface mount boards to include adding resistors, modifying boards and changing electronic components
• Testing and Quality control of final assemblies
• Labels and properly handles non-conforming products
• Ensure punctual, reliable and acceptable attendance
• Perform other duties as required
