Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for and perform routine END procedures.
• Execute routine and special END tests in accordance with department protocols.
• Ensure all equipment is clean and in working order.
• Perform additional job functions as assigned or requested.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
• 1–3 years of related work experience (minimum 1 year preferred, 2 years required).

Licenses and Certifications

• Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (required).

Skills and Abilities

• Basic mathematics: multiplication, division, percentages, decimals, and fractions.
• Basic computer operations using the Windows operating system.
• Positive interpersonal skills with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff.
• Good balance and coordination.

Physical Demands

• May require scheduled nights, holidays, and weekend on‑call availability.
• Physical activities include crawling, climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
• May exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally or up to 25 lbs. frequently.
• Requires close visual acuity including color, depth perception, and field of vision.
• Frequent invasive and non‑invasive patient contact.
• Exposure to patient body fluids and hazardous materials.
• Ability to react quickly to emergency situations.
