Dent Neurologic Institute is seeking an Electroneurodiagnostic Tech to perform EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies in Amherst, NY. This full-time role supports physicians with accurate data collection and patient care, with a schedule of four 10-hour days, Monday through Friday, 6:00am–4:30pm.

Some Saturdays may be required. The position requires an Associate degree in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology or equivalent, 2 years EEG/EMG experience, and current BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology or related field.
• High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of two (2) years of clinical EEG and/or EMG experience.
• Current BLS and/or CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Performs EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies as ordered by physicians.
• Greets patients, explains procedures, and prepares patients for testing.
• Assists with medication administration as needed and monitors patients during examinations.
• Operates and troubleshoots diagnostic equipment and maintains lab operations.
