Advantage Technical in Acton, MA is seeking a hands-on System Test Technician to support development and evaluation of cutting-edge medical devices. You will set up lab equipment, run tests, collect data, and work closely with engineers in a fast-paced R&D environment.

This role emphasizes attention to detail, documentation, and problem-solving in a collaborative team. Experience with lab testing, CAD/3D printing, and basic programming is a plus; Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of laboratory or technical testing experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
• Associate degree in a technical or engineering field preferred.
• Experience with CAD software, 3D printing, or medical device testing is a plus.
• Knowledge of Python, Git, Jenkins, Android, or iOS technologies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain laboratory equipment and test fixtures.
• Execute manual and automated testing procedures.
• Collect test data, document results, and report findings.
• Troubleshoot test issues and assist with root cause investigations.
• Support validation studies, measurement system analysis, and Gage R&R activities.
• Build prototypes and assist with product evaluations.
• Coordinate testing needs with engineering teams.
• Maintain lab organization, safety, and equipment maintenance schedules.
