Job summary

Optimal Solution Company seeks a Testing Technologist to support development of electrified vehicle traction inverters. The role involves fabricating custom test stands, wiring harnesses, and assembling prototype samples per engineering drawings, with instrumentation and diagnostic sensors across LV/HV ranges.

You will operate advanced lab equipment, troubleshoot setups, and perform maintenance while contributing to inventory and safety-focused lab operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an R&D, validation, or test lab building and tearing down electromechanical test setups.
• 2+ years LV/HV wiring harness fabrication, assembly, and quality inspection.
• Proven ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical assembly drawings.
• Strong knowledge of high-voltage systems and lab safety protocols (ECPL/LOTO).

Responsibilities

• Build custom test stands and harnesses from CAD drawings and schematics.
• Instrument prototypes with diagnostic sensors and configure high-voltage testers and thermal chambers.
• Troubleshoot experimental setups and perform routine equipment maintenance and safe teardowns.
• Support day-to-day lab operations: inventory, shipping/receiving, calibration, and safety.
