Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an Electromechanical Engineering Technician to support an O&M program at a government site in Stafford, Virginia. Work involves RF signals, antennas, coaxial lines, waveguides, TWTs, solid-state amplifiers, and related equipment with occasional travel up to 10%.

The role requires a Secret clearance (Top Secret possible) and a background in electronic maintenance, with opportunities to troubleshoot and document equipment performance, while collaborating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years experience or HS diploma with 6 years experience.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in electronic maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to travel up to 10% and work at height with fall protection.
• Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI and CI polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Analyze equipment problems, isolate causes and take action.
• Troubleshoot communication equipment including hubs, switches and cables.
• Generate and maintain equipment records and failure trends.
• Perform preventive maintenance and apply approved modifications.
