Westlake is seeking an Industrial Electrician to diagnose and repair electrical systems on a fast-paced manufacturing line. The ideal candidate will have PLC programming experience and the ability to troubleshoot circuits to the component level.
You will read drawings, interpret schematics, and use test equipment on 480V systems while maintaining safety and prioritizing tasks in a dynamic plant environment.
Responsible for all electrical diagnosis and repair on given shift to include the maintenance, service, and repair of electrical and electronic equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ideal candidate will have experience in PLC programming using ladder logic and troubleshooting electrical/electronic circuits to the component level. Ability to make repairs to systems, read drawings and schematics, utilize a variety of test equipment and work with low voltages less than 600 volts (ac/dc) Must have the ability to work self-guided and be able to prioritize jobs. Position requires good communication skills to adequately relay the state of equipment and estimated repair time to others.

Formal technical training in electronics with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the craft. Associates degree in electronic field or Journeyman's card preferred.
Position requires a valid driver's license.
