Job summary

GreenWood, Inc. is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to repair and maintain electrical distribution systems. You will work with wiring, electrical controls, and mechanical fabrication, while upholding strict safety and arc-flash procedures.

The role requires reading blueprints, plan layout, preventive maintenance, documentation, and reporting test results to management. A strong safety mindset and ability to work with standard test equipment are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum three years repairing building and parking lot lighting systems.
• Experience with single and three-phase power up to 480 VAC.
• Able to read electrical schematics and construct motor control panels.
• Follow safety procedures and arc flash safety practices.
• Measure, cut, and run conduit up to 2 inches.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain electrical distribution systems per blueprints and specs.
• Assist in preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems and facilities.
• Inspect components and identify defective parts using test equipment.
• Plan layout, install wiring and control equipment; ensure tidy, safe wiring.
• Interpret diagrams to troubleshoot electrical controls.
• Document changes and keep control documentation current.
• Test and evaluate equipment performance with voltmeters, megohmmeters, etc.
• Maintain records of test results and report to management.
• Adhere to GMP safety, housekeeping, environmental, and sanitation rules.
• Follow safety-first culture; this is a safety-sensitive position.
