Job summary

GreenWood, Inc. in Bogart, GA is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to perform skilled and semi-skilled work on electrical distribution systems. You will read blueprints, apply safety procedures, and assist in preventive maintenance while maintaining accurate documentation.

The role requires mechanical skills, welding, and strong safety adherence to electrical codes and arc flash protection. This is a safety-sensitive position within our maintenance team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years repairing building and parking lot lighting systems.
• Experience with single and three-phase power up to 480 VAC.
• Mechanical experience including light fabrication and welding.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems per blueprints and specs.
• Assist in preventive maintenance programs for electrical facilities.
• Inspect components with test equipment and diagnose faults.
• Plan wiring layouts and ensure safe, compliant electrical work.
• Document test results and maintain control documentation.
