Job summary

Advanced Heat Treat Corp. is seeking an ElectroMechanical Technician for first shift at our Waterloo, IA facility. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance across equipment systems to ensure uptime and safety.

You will troubleshoot high/low voltage equipment, read blueprints, and support environmental compliance initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams. NH3 handling familiarity is a plus, with safety training provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a two-year degree in Electronics or Electro-Mechanical Technician Maintenance Technology or related field or a minimum of two years industrial maintenance experience
• Experience with computers, relay logic, high-voltage + low voltage systems, motors and starters, bearings and pulleys, pumps and valves, controllers
• Ability to learn environmental standards and reporting to maintain compliance
• Knowledgeable with working with high-voltage industrial equipment, process gases, water supply systems
• Able to read and understand blueprints and schematics
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to follow instructions as required
• Ability to drive facility safety initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance
• Fundamental understanding of vacuum, plasma, and gas process preferred
• Must be able to pass FIT test for NH3 handling

Electromechanical Technician
We currently have a full-time position open for an ElectroMechanical Technician working first shift out of our Burton Avenue, Waterloo, IA facility. An ElectroMechanical Technician is responsible for providing maintenance support throughout the organization.
Qualifications
