Job summary

BD is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize production equipment and facility systems. You will support continuous improvement with Controls Coordinators and Process Engineers, ensuring safety, quality, and BD standards.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Electromechanical Technology and experience in manufacturing, with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, PLCs, robotics, and machine vision skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Electromechanical Technology or a related technical field.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Support Controls Coordinators and Process Engineers with process improvements involving mechanical, electrical, controls, robotics, and machine vision.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment including pneumatics, motors, VFDs, and servo systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize reliability and performance.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair PLCs.
• Maintain and repair robotic systems and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Update and maintain Quality System documentation as required.
