Job summary

MiTek Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for stamping operations in Hazelwood, MO. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plant equipment to ensure peak efficiency and safety.

You will contribute to productivity by implementing equipment and process improvements and by installing new systems as needed. Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED (or technical training) with related experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in

Qualifications

Education or 5 years related experience required.
Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Experience with Windows, Office, and PLC programming software preferred.
Journeyman or Maintenance Electrician License preferred; Lock-Out Tag-Out and Forklift Certification required.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair stamping equipment across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical or electronic systems.
Perform preventative maintenance to maximize productivity per manufacturer specs or internal schedules.
Improve productivity through equipment, material, or process improvements for stamping operations.
Install and troubleshoot new equipment as directed.
Maintain attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed.
