Job summary

Sharp Packaging Services is seeking an experienced maintenance specialist to support and operate high-speed packaging equipment. The role involves troubleshooting electromechanical systems, calibrating sensors, and performing preventative and on-demand maintenance in a cGMP production environment.

You will collaborate across Operations and Quality, train new operators, and document all activities. The position requires adaptability to varying shifts and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Electromechanical troubleshooting skills required.
• Experience with high-speed automated packaging equipment is essential.
• Knowledge of cGMP production environments and EHS guidelines.
• Ability to collaborate with Operations and Quality teams.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair machine breakdowns with maintenance and engineering teams.
• Operate packaging equipment to support daily operations.
• Assist in training and developing new machine operators and mechanics.
• Record data into process check sheets.
• Troubleshoot and adjust sensors, online printing, barcode scanning, and OCR/OCV vision equipment.
• Verify calibration status of gauges and controllers.
• Perform preventive and on-demand maintenance and document activities.
• Maintain daily communication with team members and attend required meetings.
• Complete maintenance work orders and log them in the Blue Mountain system.
• Work hours may vary based on business needs.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting of sensors, printing, barcode scanning, and vision equipment.
• Support PLC and ladder logic related troubleshooting.
• Handle electrical troubleshooting including controls, servos, robotics, and MV systems.
