Job summary

VEKA South., a proud member of the global VEKA group and the world's largest extruder of vinyl for the window and door industry, is hiring dedicated Electro-Mechanical Technician. The role focuses on installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical components of our industrial equipment, with starting salary based on experience plus shift differential.

Additional pay applies from 3:00 pm–7:00 pm and 7:00 pm–7:00 am.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations at national, state and local levels.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and technical instructions.
• Associate degree or journeyman experience preferred for handling industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical equipment, parts and control panels.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting and testing/ inspections.
• Conduct mechanical repairs as needed.
• Make decisions based on technical documents and specs.
• Work independently or in a team to complete projects.

As the Electro-Mechanical Technician your main responsibilities are installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical components of our industrial equipment.

Starting salary: Based on experience plus shift differential

Additional $1.00/hr. from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Additional $1.50/hr. between 7:00 pm - 7:00 am

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment, parts, and control panels.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate for this role should possess knowledge of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations and have good technical and mechanical ability. The role requires an understanding of technical documents, such as blueprints, schematics, and instructions. Associate degree in related field and/or journeyman experience preferred.
