Job summary

VEKA South is hiring an Electro-Mechanical Technician to install, maintain, and repair electrical components of our industrial equipment in a Terrell, Texas facility. The role emphasizes electrical and mechanical proficiency, with attention to technical documents such as blueprints and schematics.

Starting salary is based on experience with shift differential; additional $1.00/hr after 3:00 pm–7:00 pm and $1.50/hr after 7:00 pm–7:00 am.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of national/state/local electrical codes and regulations.
• Associate degree in related field and/or journeyman experience preferred.
• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment, parts and control panels.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting and testing.
• Carry out mechanical repairs.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Work independently or as part of a team on multiple projects.

As the Electro-Mechanical Technician your main responsibilities are installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical components of our industrial equipment.

Starting salary: Based on experience plus shift differential

Additional $1.00/hr. from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Additional $1.50/hr. between 7:00 pm - 7:00 am

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
