Job summary

Sierra Peaks Corporation is seeking a Sales Engineer in Albuquerque, NM to bridge fabrication capabilities with customer needs. You will develop proposals, present technical solutions, and support the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract negotiations.

You'll apply your knowledge of electromechanical design, sheet metal fabrication, and electronics to tailor cost-effective manufacturing solutions for U.S. clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• Experience in sales and engineering within manufacturing, with sheet metal and electromechanical design.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes and electronics.
• Proven experience in solution selling and pre-sales support.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and internal team engagement.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients to understand technical requirements and propose customized manufacturing solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to develop detailed electromechanical and sheet metal proposals.
• Conduct pre-sales activities including product demonstrations and technical presentations.
• Assist in cost estimates, bids, and contract negotiations to align with capabilities.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor products to position offerings.
