Job summary

Televic Rail in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Repair Technician to troubleshoot, repair, rework, test and document electronic and electromechanical products including PCBs and assemblies.

You will work with Production, Quality, Engineering and Customer Service to ensure timely repairs, maintain records, and improve repair processes; strong attention to detail and ability to read schematics required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical or vocational training in electronics, electrical technology, mechatronics, or related field preferred.
• Hands-on electronics troubleshooting and repair experience may substitute for formal education.
• Experience repairing electronic or electromechanical products in manufacturing or similar environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose failures in customer-returned products and in PCBs, assemblies, and units that fail during production.
• Use schematics, wiring diagrams, and test procedures to identify faults and determine required repairs.
• Perform electronic and electromechanical repairs, including soldering, rework, and connector repair.
• Perform functional testing after repair to verify operation and compliance with specifications.
• Install or work with firmware and software as required for troubleshooting and testing.
• Accurately document troubleshooting and repairs in applicable systems and records.
