Repair Technician

Schedule: Monday – Friday | Day Shift

Location: Sacramento, CA

Pay: $19.00/hour

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Repair Technician for a light manufacturing environment in Sacramento. This is a full‑time, long‑term opportunity for individuals with mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. The role involves testing, diagnosing, and repairing equipment according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heating, cooling, and electrical failures on refurbished equipment
• Read schematics and technical manuals to support repairs
• Perform testing using electrical instrumentation provided by the department
• Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble equipment
• Complete documentation and record keeping for repairs and inspections
• Follow safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Maintain workstation cleanliness and adhere to 5S standards
• Participate in team huddles to support performance objectives

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a sense of urgency
• Safely operate manual, electric, battery, and pneumatic hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, amp meter, etc.)
• Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for prolonged periods
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic math skills (multiplication, division)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred
• Must pass a drug test and background check
