You will diagnose electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safe, reliable operation of automated systems. Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, testing performance, assisting with new machinery installations, and documenting results.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical coursework preferred.
  • Hands-on experience as an electromechanical technician or similar maintenance role.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus; welding experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electromechanical production equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults to restore equipment safely and quickly.
  • Conduct inspections and functional tests to verify optimal operation.
  • Record work performed, parts used, and test results with clear documentation.
  • Assist with installing and commissioning new machinery and systems.
  • Maintain clean, hazard-free work areas and follow safety procedures.

Job description

Step into the RoleIn St. Louis, MO (63110), you’ll be the steady hand behind our metal processing operations—keeping complex machines humming and production on schedule. Picture your shift: you scan the maintenance queue, prioritize preventive work, then dive into a fault where a sensor misread stalls a line. You trace the issue through electrical prints, verify the mechanical assembly, adjust a pneumatic circuit, and bring the asset back to peak performance.
