Job summary

Moog in Murphy, NC is seeking a Production Operator for onsite work. You will assemble electromechanical products, operate tooling, and verify motor assemblies to spec. The role requires mechanical aptitude, soldering capability, and the ability to handle 20–40 lb lifts. Training across operations is provided, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; English comprehension required.
• Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment; mechanical aptitude.
• Experience soldering or ability to become certified.
• Good eyesight and dexterity; able to lift 20–40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electromechanical products using documentation and tooling.
• Operate machine stripper or hand tools to remove insulation from lead wire.
• Install lead wire pin connectors and attach heat sink.
• Operate stator potting mixer/applicator and apply varnish/glue as needed.
• Complete final motor assembly and test motor/drive per specs.
• Load and monitor automated machinery and prepare packaging for final unit.
