Job summary

Prysmian is seeking an Electromechanical Maintenance Technician for the Claremont Fiber Plant in the United States. The position supports setup, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of complex mechanical and electrical equipment, including automatic machines and process controls.

The role requires a strong maintenance background, safety adherence, and the ability to work on a night-shift schedule (12-hour nights, 6:45pm–7:00am) with a 2-2-3 rotation and training on days.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Associates degree or military/equivalent training in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Technology.
• SAP experience preferred; fiber manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, install, troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production and plant systems.
• Operate and test process controls and electrical distribution equipment.
• Follow safe work practices and company policies at all times.
• Assist Maintenance lead/manager with procedures and inventory control.
