Job summary

Prysmian is seeking an Electromechanical Maintenance Technician at the Claremont Fiber Plant. This role involves setup, troubleshooting, repair and testing of complex machinery, including electrical controls and process systems.

Expect preventive maintenance and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced plant environment. The position reports to the Claremont Fiber Maintenance Manager with day or night shifts (12-hour) and a rotating 2-2-3 schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Associates degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Technology preferred.
• Military service or on-the-job training in maintenance may qualify.

Responsibilities

• Set up, install, troubleshoot, repair and test complex mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production and plant equipment.
• Maintain assets to ensure reliability, availability and quality.
• Adhere to safe work practices and Prysmian policies.
