Job summary

Tropicana Brands Group USA is seeking an Electromechanical Maintenance Technician to diagnose faults, repair issues, and keep our high-speed packaging and processing lines performing at peak reliability at the City of Industry facility. You will conduct preventive and predictive maintenance, support new machinery installations, and collaborate across maintenance teams while upholding GMP and safety standards.

Onsite, full-time, in California.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of maintenance experience in food processing or manufacturing.
• Ability to read schematics and diagnose across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
• Hands-on machining experience (lathe, mill, grinders) and welding exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production lines and facility equipment.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Support installation of new machinery and layout changes.
• Operate equipment to support throughput and testing.
• Uphold GMP and housekeeping standards.
• Be part of emergency response team with SCBA readiness.

You’ve walked the floor, reviewed the maintenance plan, and checked the utilities that power high-speed packaging and processing. As our Electromechanical Maintenance Technician, you’ll diagnose faults, repair issues quickly, and keep our production equipment and facility assets performing at their best. Building on 76+ years leading the orange juice category, we’re reimagining refreshment—from functional smoothies to afternoon pick‑me‑ups—and pushing what a $3B startup can achieve.What You’ll DoTroubleshoot, repair, and maintain production lines and facility equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation.Execute preventive and predictive maintenance routines to reduce unplanned downtime.Support installation of new machinery and layout changes.Operate production line equipment as needed to support throughput and testing.Pitch in across plant maintenance whenever needed and take on additional responsibilities assigned by management.Uphold strong housekeeping and GMP standards in every area you touch.Participate on the emergency response team; must be able to wear SCBA and a respirator.What You Bring3–4 years of experience in food processing environments.Ability to read schematics and diagnose across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.Hands-on machining experience (lathe, mill, grinders, etc.).Welding exposure preferred: arc, heli-arc, plasma, sanitary.Proficiency with pumps (centrifugal and positive displacement): teardown, repair, and alignment.Skilled in electrical construction and wiring methods.Comfort using electronic test equipment and simulating/bench testing components.Experience with plant utilities: boilers, water systems, air compressors, and HVAC.Familiarity with automated, high-speed packaging machinery.Use of CMMS for work orders, PMs, and parts tracking.PC savvy: Windows, Microsoft Office, and other common applications.Strong electrical and instrumentation aptitude with PLC exposure.Knowledge of AC/DC drives and related control systems.Bring your own tools.Location & WorkstyleBased in or willing to relocate to the City of Industry, CA area for the duration of employment.Onsite presence required at our manufacturing facility on a full-time basis.Capable of standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting/moving 50+ lbs for the duration of the shift.Previous, verifiable maintenance mechanic experience in manufacturing (minimum 1 year).Relevant coursework from a junior college or technical institute, plus seminars or ongoing education are valued.LegalMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the futureCompensation & BenefitsPay of this position is $35.96 an hour.We offer a comprehensive package including medical, dental, vision, company-provided life insurance, STD and LTD, a 401(k), and a Pension Plan.
