Job summary
Allied Steel Buildings in McGregor, Texas seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician (Electromechanical) to maintain and optimize electromechanical systems in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation issues affecting CNC, robotics, and production controls.
The role requires hands-on maintenance expertise, ability to read schematics, and effective communication with engineering and vendors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training in industrial maintenance a plus.
- Minimum of five years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, fabrication, automation, or related environment preferred.
- Experience troubleshooting integrated electromechanical systems and maintaining automated production equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and automated systems.
- Diagnose and repair failures across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.
- Troubleshoot integrated equipment issues involving multiple systems and provide timely resolutions.
- Repair and replace bearings, gearboxes, belts, motors, valves, sensors, and related components.
- Maintain and troubleshoot robotic welding systems and PLC-controlled machinery.
- Document maintenance work, inspections, downtimes, and parts used.
