Job summary

DOC Services Inc. is seeking a Commercial HVAC– Refrigeration Technician to service and repair commercial HVAC and light industrial equipment. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and strong attention to safety.

Qualified candidates have at least 5 years of field experience with walk-in freezers, reach-in freezers, ice machines, and related systems, EPA certification, valid driver's license, and a willingness to travel within a 2.5 hour radius.

Qualifications

Minimum five years of experience with commercial HVAC-R equipment.
EPA certification and valid driver’s license required.
Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot electronic and electrical components.
Repair and preventive maintenance for commercial HVAC and refrigeration units.
Locate source of problems by observing devices and listening for issues.
Provide daily reports and communicate with store managers, DOC Supervisor, and office administrator.
Remove defective parts by dismantling devices using hand and power tools.
Identify correct parts needed and close calls promptly.
Adhere to OSHA and DOC safety regulations.
Maintain company vehicle and documents.
Experience with Walk-in Freezers, Reach-in Freezers, Ice Machines, Coolers preferred.
EPA Certification required.
Other duties as assigned.
