Job summary

DOC SERVICES is seeking Electromechanical Field Service Technicians who travel to customer sites to maintain, troubleshoot and repair a range of electromechanical equipment in retail stores.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, 2 years repair experience, strong electrical/mechanical knowledge, ability to read schematics, and a clean driving record. Safety, documentation, and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of equipment repair experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge; read schematics.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and call management software.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Satisfactory background check required.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Written, verbal and electronic communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to equipment repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform billable work by maintaining, troubleshooting and servicing equipment.
• Abide by OSHA, customer and DOC safety regulations including PPE.
• Respond to service calls within required timeframes.
• Document work via handheld device.
• Provide cost-effective service while maintaining quality.
• Seek technical support on site to avoid delays.
• Available to be reached by phone for reactive repairs.
• Order correct parts and manage inventory.
• Arrive prepared with tools, parts and safety equipment.
• Travel to customer locations and work independently.
• Perform inventory reconciliation as scheduled.
• Return parts promptly as requested.
• Evaluate preventable issues and advise customers.
• Other duties as needed.
