Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking an Electromechanical Engineer Intern in Fremont, CA, in a hybrid work arrangement. This internship offers exposure to wire & cable lab activities, data sheet development, and standardized test procedures within the Aerospace, Defense & Marine unit.

You will support VAVE and CoPQ projects, assist with dimensional and weight calculations, and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in a global industrial technology leader.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Currently enrolled in or pursuing a BA/BS or MA/MS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Plastics/Polymer Engineering.
• Prior internship experience or completion of a major project is preferred.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Support Wire & Cable Lab activities by providing streamlined data sheets.
• Support Wire & Cable Lab activities by developing standardized test procedures.
• Support Wire & Cable SCD drafting capabilities, streamlining dimensional and weight calculations for complex constructions.
