Job summary

Work Location

The location for this position Hybrid. The office is located at 6801 Kasier Drive, Fremont, CA

This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).   • Support Wire & Cable Business Unit as a Product Engineer
  • Support FY25 Goals and Business Unit strategy
  • Support VAVE and Continuous Improvement (CoPQ) Projects for the Wire & Cable Redwood City Plant
Responsibilities

  • Support Wire & Cable Lab activities by providing streamlined data sheets.
  • Support Wire & Cable Lab activities by developing standardized test procedures.
  • Support Wire & Cable SCD drafting capabilities streamlining dimensional and weight calculation for complex constructions.
You're the kind of person we are looking for if you:
  • Have earned a high school diploma or GED
  • Are currently enrolled in, or pursuing, a BA/BS or MA/MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Plastics/Polymer Engineering from an accredited college or university-or have equivalent work experience (gap year students may also be considered).
  • Preferably have prior internship experience or have completed a major project
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $26.92 - 57.15/hour (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

Our internship program typically runs May thru August and gives students the opportunity to work on projects that contribute to the success of their team and build on their classroom experience. Throughout the 10-12-week program, interns will be provided with:
