Job summary
Synergy Staffing is seeking an Entry-Level Electromechanical Engineer in the Pittsburgh area to assist in the design, development, testing, and implementation of electrical and mechanical systems for products and manufacturing processes. You will work alongside experienced engineers on electrical design, control panels, industrial automation, and manufacturing projects.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Entry-level candidates and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of electrical theory, mechanical systems, power distribution, and industrial controls.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software is preferred.
- Knowledge of PLCs, motor controls, VFDs, and electrical schematics is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Willingness to learn applicable electrical codes, industry standards, and control panel design practices.
Responsibilities
- Assist with design and development of electromechanical systems and components.
- Support senior engineers with electrical design and control panel layouts.
- Create and update electrical schematics and drawings using AutoCAD/SolidWorks.
- Help prepare BOMs for electrical and control panel components.
- Learn to interpret project specifications and customer requirements.
- Assist with selecting electrical components for AC/DC circuits, motors, VFDs, PLCs.
- Support control panel assembly, wiring, and troubleshooting.
- Assist with testing, startup, and commissioning activities.
- Understand NEC, NFPA, and UL508A safety standards.
