Job summary

Marotta Controls in Chaska, MN is seeking an Assembly & Test Technician I to assemble and test electromechanical products for Power and Actuation Systems. You will follow mechanical drawings, work instructions and routings to build, solder, wind and test subassemblies for brushless DC motor applications.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic PC skills, and a detail-oriented, team-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to read blueprints and apply technical drawings.
• Demonstrates mechanical/technical aptitude and ability to perform tests.
• Detail-oriented, fast-paced with strong procedural discipline.
• Good verbal and written communication within the team.
• Proficient with basic PC applications and MS Office.
• US citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret procedures and schematics; verify tolerances.
• Solder, crimp, assemble critical electronic systems.
• Test and document results; troubleshoot and rework as needed.
• Maintain tooling, fixtures, and documentation for each job.
• Follow ESD policies and ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Assist in lean improvements and packaging per procedures.
