Job summary

System One is seeking an Electromechanical Assembler in Leetsdale, PA for a direct hire on-site role. You will perform a range of mechanical and electrical assembly tasks and support testing and calibration of finished products.

You should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of manufacturing experience with basic welding, electrical, and mechanical skills, plus ability to read blueprints. The position offers full-time hours on day shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience involving basic welding, electrical, and mechanical skills preferred.
• Basic hydraulic and electrical skills in a manufacturing setting required.
• Ability to read blueprints required.
• Fluid power industry or manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cross-trained to fill in for or support various hourly roles using general mechanical and electrical skills, including assembly, painting, washing, welding operations, shipping/receiving, product testing, and storeroom duties.
• Operates a range of equipment including band saws, plasma cutters, gas cutting tools, welders, magnetic drills, grinders, drill presses, cranes, hydraulic circuit testers, multimeters, strobe lights, hand tools, a hydraulic hose crimping machine, a welding robot, and micrometers.
• Assembles and tests finished products, performing repairs and calibration as needed.
• Follows work orders, bills of material, engineering designs, electrical and hydraulic schematics, and applicable specifications.
• Documents test results and any non-standard as-built features.
• Partners with Engineering on prototype development.
• Performs additional tasks as assigned.
