Job summary

Omega Engineering Inc. is seeking a diligent Electronics Assembler to build and inspect electronic components, subassemblies, and products.

You will read drawings, select parts, and assemble using soldering tools and microscopes, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards. You will work with a team in a fast-paced environment, perform go/no-go tests, and help document process improvements to reduce waste and rework.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 0–2 years in manufacturing assembly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and products per drawings and work orders.
• Select and place components (transistors, resistors, capacitors, ICs) following procedures.
• Use hand tools, soldering equipment, and microscopes as needed for SMT and through-hole assembly.
• Inspect parts for tolerances and quality using calipers, micrometers, and measuring instruments.
• Prepare surfaces for soldering and connect wires between components and assemblies.
• Perform go/no-go testing and assist with documentation for quality improvements.
