The role focuses on supporting UL 891 switchboards and UL 67 panelboards, with emphasis on 3D CAD, sheet-metal design, and cross-functional coordination to ensure manufacturability and quality across orders.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of relevant experience in electrical power distribution equipment, switchboard design, or a closely related field.
• Working knowledge of UL 891 switchboards and/or UL 67 panelboards.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and one-line diagrams and translate them into BOMs and production documents.
• Practical manufacturing experience, including 2D drawings for sheet-metal fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical contractor one-line diagrams, project specifications, and customer requirements.
• Break down designs into complete BOMs for switchboard and panelboard orders.
• Prepare engineering and production documentation for procurement, fabrication, assembly, and order execution.
• Develop and maintain 3D models, mechanical layouts, and assembly designs in CAD.
