Job summary

Chief Buildings Plant in Grand Island, NE is seeking a paint process associate to perform electrocoat painting of metal components. The role emphasizes safety, quality control, and efficient machine operation on the 2nd shift (4:30pm - 3:00am).

Responsibilities include inspecting parts before painting, maintaining equipment, and safely handling materials up to 70 pounds with forklifts and overhead cranes as needed. A High School Diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Carries out responsibilities with safety and efficiency as a priority.
• Inspects product for dust, oil, rust and other residue prior to painting.
• Maintain compliance to all quality control procedures and standards.
• Perform routine maintenance of assigned machines.
• Comfortably and safely lift up to 70 pounds.
• Operates forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment to safely and efficiently transport materials as required.
• Capable of working independently or as a team with minimum supervision
