Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline with 2+ years of experience or a Master's degree.
  • Hands-on electrochemical testing experience in academic, research, or industry settings.
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting experimental data to support engineering conclusions.
  • Laboratory experience and ability to follow documented test procedures.
  • Ability to communicate technical findings through reports and presentations.
  • For international degrees, eligibility per regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrochemical testing and characterization of metals, alloys, and electrode materials (OCP, cyclic polarization, CV, EIS).
  • Conduct bench electrical stimulation testing to evaluate leads and electrodes for implantable devices.
  • Analyze corrosion behavior and degradation to support product development.
  • Support evaluation of emerging electrode technologies for neuromodulation.
  • Investigate device‑tissue interfacial interactions and long‑term material stability.
  • Develop and execute lab test protocols and document findings for cross‑functional teams.
  • Contribute to material selection and engineering specifications based on results.
  • Support failure analysis and life prediction activities to improve reliability.
