Job summary

MIT Lincoln Laboratory seeks an engineer to join our prototyping team, focusing on building and integrating advanced electro-optic camera systems for terrestrial and space applications. The successful candidate will collaborate with optical, mechanical, and electrical engineers to design, prototype, integrate, and deploy highly integrated electro-optic systems.

Qualifications

  • PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; in lieu of a PhD, a Master’s with 5 years experience or Bachelor’s with 10 years experience will be considered.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • This is an on-site, collaborative role.

Responsibilities

  • Design, prototype, integrate, and deploy highly integrated electro-optic systems for terrestrial and space applications.
  • Hands-on electronics design, hardware bring-up, debugging, and integration with sensors, optics, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Think beyond individual boards or subsystems to improve system performance, reliability, and mission success.
