Life Fitness is seeking an Engineering Test Technician II to be responsible for testing and evaluation of new and existing fitness equipment at our Schaumburg location. The ideal candidate will have an Associate Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Technology, alongside hands-on experience in a laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 - 6 years of testing in a lab environment.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and shop tools.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, modify, validate, and maintain test equipment.
• Perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic or mechanical components.
• Communicate test results to engineering personnel.

Skills

Hands-on instrumentation and data acquisition experience

Understanding of electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic components

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools

Education

Associate Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Technology
