Life Fitness / Hammer Strength seeks a Hardware Test Technician to evaluate new and existing fitness equipment through electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing. You will build test stands, set up tests, monitor results, and document findings for engineering teams.

The role requires 3–6 years of lab testing experience, an associate degree in related tech, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Location-based responsibilities apply in Schaumburg, IL.

Formación

• Associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
• 3–6 years of testing in a lab environment or hands-on product knowledge.
• Understanding of electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic components and systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and good verbal/written organization.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble, modify, validate, and maintain test equipment and related assemblies.
• Read schematics and drawings; follow safe procedures under supervision.
• Perform tests including test to failure and accelerated testing.
• Set up electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic test equipment for data collection.
• Document results accurately and communicate findings to engineers.
