Life Fitness is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team in the United States. This role involves sustaining engineering for electronic hardware, focusing on quality improvements and field issue resolutions. Responsibilities include collaborating with team members, performing failure analysis, and creating troubleshooting documents. The Electrical Engineer is responsible for sustaining engineering associated with the development of electronic hardware, including user interface control boards and other sub‑systems for consumer and commercial cardiovascular and strength equipment. The role works closely with other engineers (junior and senior) as well as technicians to drive quality improvements, cost reductions, provide support for end‑of‑life components, and perform other sustaining engineering tasks. The engineer resolves field issues focusing on high warranty items and reports to the director of the Life Fitness / Hammer Strength Electrical team.
B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an accredited four‑year institution is required. One to three years of experience is preferred (internship experience counts).
