Qualifications

• A.S. or certification in Electronics, Manufacturing Technology or equivalent.
• Experience with circuit level theory with component level troubleshooting, mechanical and rotating equipment.
• Prior test and repair experience preferred
• Soldering, oscilloscope, metrology, inventory control systems skills required
• Familiarity with Lean fundamentals
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong team player with interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally across different functions.
• Ability to quickly master new business knowledge and technical skills in a rapidly changing business environment
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet organizational needs, with limited guidance.
• Ability to problem solve

Responsibilities

• Evaluate components and products related to the production process and determine changes needed.
• Decipher plans and diagrams to install or troubleshoot electronics systems and wiring networks.
• Record performance data by detailing testing methods and documenting issues.
• Partner with engineers to fine tune repair and diagnostic processes.
• Diagnose and repair problems with electrical and mechanical systems in production.
• Maintain equipment by performing scheduled maintenance and calibration.
• Communicate with customers, team members, engineers or management about progress.
• Complete problem solving exercises and corrective actions as assigned.
• Participate in kaizen continuous improvement activities.
• Adhere to standard work and priorities.
• Workflow determined by internal and external customer requirements.
