Job summary

Sigil Partners is seeking a Test Engineer to support testing, troubleshooting, and release of complex electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment. The role collaborates with Manufacturing, Product and Software Engineering to resolve issues and ensure successful functional and production testing.

Position starts on first shift for training, then transitions to permanent second shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM). On-site with relocation assistance for non-local candidates; strong growth path into senior

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field required; Master’s degree with relevant experience also acceptable.
Minimum 5 years in OEM environment troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

Support testing and troubleshooting of multiple complex manufacturing tools.
Review specs and configurations; communicate gaps to teams.
Develop test definitions and functional requirements for new products.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, software, and fluid-delivery systems.
Analyze software logs and hardware/software interactions with software engineers.
Train technicians on equipment platforms and testing procedures.
