WITRON Group in Tolleson, AZ is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to maintain a state-of-the-art automated material handling system in a fast-paced distribution center.

You will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshoot PLCs and inverters, and support installation and refurbishment of system components. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and uptime with opportunities for premium shift differentials and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's degree in industrial technology or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in electrical and/or mechanical roles (5+ years preferred).
• Strong electrical (3-Phase, 480V, DC, 24V) and mechanical skills.
• Familiarity with drive technology (motors/gears).
• Knowledge of PLC/controls/inverters.
• Understanding of wiring diagrams and electrical measuring techniques.
• Proficiency with computer systems and monitoring programs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components of automated material handling systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize system uptime.
• Assist with installation or refurbishment of components.
• Troubleshoot faults and coach production on basic fixes.
• Support continuous improvement through system knowledge.

Are you a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician ready to take on the challenge of maintaining a state-of-the-art automated material handling system in a fast-paced distribution center? We are looking for a dedicated professional who prioritizes safety, thrives on maximizing system performance, and excels in both electrical and mechanical tasks.

Pay ranges between $30.90 - $35.00 per hour

WITRON offers premium shift differential pay for qualifying evening, night, or weekend shifts on top of the base pay and performance-based bonus opportunities that reward your hard work and dedication.

As An Electro-Mechanical Technician, You Will

• Approach all tasks and situations with a safety-first mindset, ensuring the well-being of yourself and your team.
• Enhance system performance and minimize downtime through effective maintenance activities.
• Engage in a wide range of electrical and mechanical tasks with minimal supervision.
• Assist the production team with basic fault correction, coaching, and troubleshooting.
• Aid in the installation of new components or the refurbishment of existing system components.
• Drive continuous improvement activities through comprehensive system knowledge and site-specific enhancements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree in industrial technology or related field, preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience in a relevant electrical and/or mechanical role required, five (5) years plus preferred.
• Strong skills in electrical (3-Phase, 480V, DC, and 24V controls) and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with electrics/mechanics in drive technology (motors/gears).
• Knowledge of control technology (PLC/controls/inverters).
• Understanding of wiring diagrams and electrical measuring techniques.
• Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and proprietary system monitoring programs.
• Experience maintaining material handling systems in a light industry or distribution center environment is strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Continuous walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and standing.
• Working at heights of up to 80-100 feet while wearing fall-arrest gear and other PPE.
• Lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
