Job summary

Rain for Rent is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the Tube Mill and supporting equipment. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical assemblies, HF seam welders, aluminum end-weld equipment, electrical/control systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic utilities, while ensuring safe shop practices.

The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, safety compliance, and timely response to equipment breakdowns in a hands-on, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Diagnose, repair, and rebuild mechanical assemblies (bearings, gearboxes, rollers, shafts). Maintain roll-forming stands and weld boxes.
• Maintain and troubleshoot High-Frequency seam welding systems.
• Maintain and repair aluminum end-welding equipment, including MIG/TIG weld machines and tooling.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480V and assist with PLC/HMI hardware swaps.

Responsibilities

• Tube Mill Mechanical Maintenance: diagnose, repair, and rebuild mechanical assemblies; ensure code-compliant repairs and complete work orders.
• HF Seam Welder Support: maintain and troubleshoot welding systems and related components.
• Aluminum End-Weld Equipment Support: maintain welding equipment, troubleshoot grounding circuits and drive assemblies.
• Electrical & Controls: troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480V; assist PLC/HMI hardware swaps.
• Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Utilities: maintain hydraulic/pneumatic systems and related equipment.
• Fabrication Tools & Machinery: operate and maintain fabrication tools and perform fabrication tasks.
• Facility Infrastructure: maintain lighting, HVAC, compressed air, safety checks, and inventory.
