Job summary

Paktron LLC in Lynchburg, VA, is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to oversee production and facility machinery. You will repair, troubleshoot, upgrade, and install equipment, support manufacturing processes, and work with engineering to maintain efficiency and quality.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED with 3-5 years' maintenance experience, or an associate degree in engineering with 1-2 years' related experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 3–5 years of machine maintenance, or an associate degree in engineering with 1–2 years related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Proficiency in fixing and troubleshooting production equipment and facilities.
• Knowledge of motors, pumps, pneumatic valves, and 3-phase power.
• Strong independence and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and repair production equipment to ensure uptime.
• Provide engineering process support and improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Perform preventative maintenance and coordinate with engineering and suppliers.
• Maintain inventory of parts and document work performed.
• Keep shop areas clean and organized; report safety risks.
