Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus experience; advanced degrees accepted.
• IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Perform electro-mechanical assembly of components and systems following drawings and specs.
• Conduct precision mechanical assembly and rework with tight tolerances.
• Install and route fiber optic cables with signal integrity in mind.
• Execute complex solder rework and repair for reliable joints.
• Install and repair magnet wire components maintaining insulation integrity.
• Assist in designing, setting up, and calibrating test equipment and fixtures.
• Support engineers with testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of components.
• Maintain thorough documentation of assembly, rework, and repairs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to complete projects.
